Forest of Dean Community Radio ceased broadcasting at midnight on 31st December 2009, after four years as the UK's first Community Radio station.
Our sincere thanks for everyone who has taken part in this adventure - programme makers, other volunteers, management, staff, funders, supporters and of course the listeners.
Although we are no longer broadcasting as a full-time Community Radio station work on Community Media in the Forest will continue in some form once we have licked our wounds and re-grouped.
So please visit this website occasionally to check for further news.
We have received interest from various groups and individuals regarding the future of our equipment from portable recorders to transmitters.
