Listen Live
Fodradio LogoForest of Dean Radio is a Community Radio Station run by local people, featuring local voices and broadcast from the heart of the Forest.

We are dedicated to benefiting the Forest and the people in it, providing entertainment and information, a chance to learn new skills and meet new people. We offer the community a new way to get involved in making the Forest even better than it is already.

All sounds very worthy does it not - but actually we do all that by having a lot of fun together making and broadcasting radio shows which we hope you'll enjoy. Every programme we broadcast is produced and presented by ordinary members of the Forest community who have got themselves involved and found themselves a new passion.

So why not tune in and listen on air or online - or maybe even consider grabbing yourself some enjoyment by joining us?

 Relay For life

The Forest of Dean "Relay for Life" came to an end for this year on Sunday with teams having raised a massive £64,000 so far, with some money still to be counted.

Twenty-six teams have spent the last few months working towards this total and all came together on the weekend to spend 24 hours walking laps at Lydney Leisure Centre as the final event.

Earlier in the month several teams had publicised the event by taking over Forest of Dean Radio for the day.
