All the musicians that we've had on the show are singer/songwriters so it's really nice to sit back and hear what their coming up with. Justin is a singer himself and knows how difficult it is to get noticed, which was the whole idea for the show, to let these people be heard.  Fresh Hits

On every 2 weeks 3pm - 5pm on a Sunday.

Ryan Davies brings yousome of the latest tracks around, with classics from the Fresh Hits Archive mixed in. Also on every show from 2.15 there is the Fresh Hits chart. The chart is the top 10 tracks which people having been voting for. If you want to get your vote in for the next chart, just send the song and artist to freshhits@hotmail.co.uk

 Blues Front Blues

Blues Front Bar An eclectic mix of the best traditional and up-to-the minute acoustic and electric blues from the Blue Front team: Alan Draisey, John Anderson and Pete Smith.

From field recordings to Nu-Blues, with classic, jump and British blues along the way, we aim to demonstrate the interesting and sometimes surprising variety of African American and White blues - not just those same old tired blues band blues!

Named after, and linked with, a jook joint in Bentonia, Mississippi, The Blue Front Blues Room has been hosting fortnightly gigs by the best US and UK acoustic artists at the Miners Arms, Whitecroft since 2002.

 Chris Arscott's Folk & Acoustic Music Program

Now in its third year, this programme is broadcast on the fourth Thursday of each month, and repeated the following Sunday. and brings you the best of Folk and Acoustic music in and around the Forest of Dean. It includes news of what's happening in the local area, tracks by artists appearing locally, interviews with some of those artists and information on what's happening in your neck of the woods and within a reasonable driving distance.

Also broadcast every Friday at 6:45pm and repeated at 11:45am on Saturday, the Gig Guide giving news and information about folk and acoustic concerts, club nights and events.

 Classical Hour

The programme is a mixture of excerpts from Opera (arias, duets and chorus), movements from orchestral symphonies and concertos, selections from String Quartets, Trios and also Piano Sonatas.

It is broadcast on Sundays at 3pm by a dedicated group of presenters, each with their own tastes that they stamp on 'their week'

 White Labelled City

Airing once per quarter year White Labelled City was the brain child of local musican and DJ Tim Gunter and is a new twist on the 'Juke Box Jury' format, focussed on local bands and singers. Fronted by Darren Crook, a panel of invited guests pass judgement on music from the best unsigned and underground White Labelled Music. (Thanks to Janie Lisle, Tim Gunter, Pete White and Lee Baldwin and Mike James for support in making this programme. )

FodRadio’s lounge lizard Jeff Green plays laid back tracks and big band favourites in a mystery tour around the hi-ways, by-ways and occasional blind alleys of Jazz.

 The Swing Shift

This programme is part of the jazz hour rotoation and is presented by Gerry Crossman on the first Tuesday of every month @ 7:00pm and repeated on the following Sunday at 4:30pm.
Music from an era when Big bands were king, as well as some great Jumping and Jiving sounds and the coolest vocalists to hit this planet. The sounds are sweet & hot, and the music is for dancer and listener alike. So roll up your bobby socks, strap on your saddle shoes and put on your zoot suit and join all the hepcats at the Swing Shift.
